TVF Pitchers - How They Perfected The Use Of MacGuffin @TheViralFever

After the wait of seven long years, TVF Pitchers Season 2 finally came out just at the end of the last year. Luckily, they had kept one factor still intact on which I was honestly amazed and found the chance to make a video essay on. The brilliant use of MacGuffin. MacGuffin is that element in storytelling which becomes a motivation for the story to move forward regardless of what its own contents are. Watch how TVF uses MacGuffin to visually narrate a brilliant theme! Paradigm Unshifted is making video essays on movies, art and whatnot! Cheers! Happy Analysis! Goodfellas - The Helicopter Scene Analysis | Martin Scorsese | Ray Liotta | Robert De Niro

Goodfellas reminds you of Martin Scorsese, Ray Liotta and Robert De Niro. There has never been a better gangster movie which depicts the lives of the gangsters in a more satirical manner. Paradigm Unshifted analyzes the helicopter scene or the drug montage of Goodfellas in lieu of its editing, cinematography, sound design and screenplay on how it can generate emotions like restlessness, panic and anxiety in its viewers. The Insider - The Art of Overburdening The Protagonist | Michael Mann | Russell Crowe | Al Pacino

"The Insider" is one of the most underrated films of Michael Mann, written by Eric Roth. I consider this film one of the greatest films of Mann and Roth, with incredible performances by Russell Crowe and Al Pacino. In this video essay, I intend to analyze Michael Mann's treatment on how he puts pressure on the protagonist. Paradigm Unshifted is making video essays, curating podcasts and whatnot! There Will Be Blood - How Daniel Day Lewis Reacts To His Subjects | Paradigm Unshifted

One of the best period dramas of all times, Oscar winning film, There Will Be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson is known for its amazing filmmaking techniques. One of the key factors for this film being a case study for filmmakers is Daniel Day-Lewis' impeccable acting. One of the things I was curious about is how an actor reacts to someone or something kept in front of him. The subject becomes a factor of reaction to the actor yielding different varieties of emotions. I take three scenes of Daniel Day-Lewis portraying Daniel Plainview analysing his reaction to the subjects placed in front of him. Nocturnal Animals is one of the modern day classics which grips you till the end and you wonder how did they manage to pull this stunt off so practically and efficiently. One of the things I loved about it is how the characters use metaphors on other characters as a tool for taking revenge. Check out how Tom Ford uses metaphors and symbology to portray revenge! The Social Network - How Editing Montages Carve A Movie Into A Masterpiece | Video Essay | Analysis

Watching The Social Network (2010) multiple times, one thing has always amazed me, which makes this movie unique. It's the way this film has been edited. If we look carefully, montages dominate the majority portion of the film and every montage has a different approach to him. And to think about it, the master behind this film is David Fincher. After multiple changes to the screenplay, multiple takes and countless edit drafts, he crafted this movie into perfection. In this video, I am looking at the masterful montages of The Social Network by the Academy Award winning editors, Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall, which can be one of the best case studies any aspiring filmmaker can have!
